Marshmallow Caramel Popcorn

This is by far my all-time favorite caramel popcorn. It is lite and has just enough sweetness that you end up eating it by the hand-full. I got this recipe from a girl in my major freshman year of college and I have been in love ever since! Also did I mention it seriously couldn't be any easier to make. Seriously folks, we are talking homemade caramel popcorn in less than 10 minutes. So go grab a movie and curl up with some marshmallow caramel popcorn!

Marshmallow Caramel Popcorn

1/2 c. butter
12 regular-sized marshmallows
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. popcorn kernels OR 1 bag of natural/plain microwave popcorn

Directions: Pop your popcorn and set aside in a extra large bowl.

In a sauce pan melt your butter over medium heat. Next add marshmallows. Once they melt down, remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar. Pour mixture over the popcorn and stir with a rubber spatula until the popcorn is evenly coated. Now sit back relax, and enjoy the show ;)

** Store in a ziplock plastic bag or tupperware container to keep it soft.
